Laura & Perry
On 2000-01-02 (over one year ago) we all got together to take a photo. The idea was that we would all dress up "in the style of 1900", take a photo next to a horse-drawn-carriage at Greenfield Village, and then send out greeting cards which read "We Survived Y2K", then open the card, see the photo with the words "Best Wishes for a Healthy 1900".
But it was difficult to find some appropriate old-style clothes. My sister Laura and my mother Shirley came the closest. But the rest of us dressed up as best we could and we took one big photo, and many smaller ones. Here we see Laura with her husband Perry and their three dogs: Dundee, Watson, and Molly.
