Christmas Tree with Red Hearts

O Christmas Tree

Comerica Bank is where I do my banking. For the Holiday Season they sold "Red Hearts" for $1.00 each. For each Heart sold, Comerica Bank matched with another $1.00 and then the $2.00 went to a fund to buy mittens and gloves for poor children this winter. When you bought a Heart you could write any name on it. So I bought a few Hearts here, and a few Hearts there, and put some names on them. For fun I wrote Etsuko's name in Japanese. There was "Bill", "Marty", "Cliff", "Dean", "Scott", "Laura", and "Tyge". Also I wrote one for those no longer here, including "Shirley", my mother, and "Roy" my pet raccoon. Not to be left out was "Yume", Etsuko's dog. The people at the bank then put the Hearts on the tree. Etsuko's Heart and Yume's Heart were placed in a very good position. (Two Hearts visible in the middle of this SnapShot) I forgot how to write "Yume" in Hiragana, so I had to write with Roman Characters. I must go study my ChipChat Japanese Training! so I don't forget again!
