Parker Festival Lunch, 1999
Each Christmas Season, for many years, Jack Parker has stopped by our office to have a Holiday Lunch. It is always a highlight for us. This photo was taken one year ago, on December 28, 1999. Pictured are Jack Parker, Marty Cawthon, Shirley Cawthon, Bill Cawthon, John Parker. Marty and John Parker played the bagpipes together in the Border Cities Pipe Band, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada during the 1970s. I selected this one year old photo for today because it is a good photo of all of us, especially of Shirley. She died on 2000-06-02. It seems impossible, looking at her photo here, that she is within 5 months of death due to Cancer.
