George W. Bush waves to the crowd

Howdy Y'all, Dearborn Michigan!

Texas Governor George W. Bush, the Republican candidate for President, visited my hometown, Dearborn Michigan, on Saturday morning, 11/04. ("Howdy Y'all" is a Texas way to say "Hello Everybody") Also visiting were Mr Bush's wife; Richard Cheney the Republican Vice Presidential candidate (former Secretary of Defense); Colin Powell (Retired Army General, Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff); a Senator from Colorado (with his "motorcycle gang buddies"); Michigan Governor John Engler; Dearborn Mayor Michael Guido; and Actress Bo Derek. They held a big rally at "Ford Field", a park about two blocks from where I live. Security was tight, but I was able to position myself close to his path. Here Mr Bush is about 2 meters (6 feet) from me. He waves to the large crowd which is cheering & chanting "We Want Bush!" and "No More Gore!" ("Gore" is Vice President Al Gore, the Democratic Presidential Candidate). Secret Service agent wearing sunglasses is close by
